Description
The African Rabbitfish is a peaceful herbivore known for its stunning blue-gray body marked with intricate wave-like patterns. This fish adds a unique visual element to a large marine aquarium due to its distinct appearance. Although relatively easy to care for, they require a large tank with plenty of room to swim and graze on algae.
While African Rabbitfish are generally reef compatible, caution should be exercised as they may occasionally nip at soft corals. They are best suited for tanks with ample algae growth, making them excellent choices for controlling algae populations. This species thrives on a diet of marine algae, spirulina, and herbivore pellets.
