Description
The Babylon Snail, also known as the Leopard Snail, is a carnivorous snail that is often appreciated in aquariums for its distinctive and striking shell pattern. The shell features intricate brown and black leopard-like spots, making it an attractive addition to reef tanks. This snail is excellent at cleaning up detritus and uneaten food from the substrate, helping to maintain a cleaner aquarium environment. This species is reef-safe and can coexist with corals and other peaceful invertebrates. It thrives in established aquariums with a soft sandy substrate, which allows it to burrow and sift through the sand in search of food. Feeding on small meaty foods, such as fish bits or mysis shrimp, is recommended to keep the Babylon Snail healthy. Approximate Purchase Size: 1″ to 2″
