Description
The Ember Blenny (Tonga) is a peaceful species known for its beautiful and unusual green, red, and blue coloration, highlighted by vibrant red spots across its body. This blenny has a characteristic face, often with eyelash-like cirri, adding to its charm.
As an herbivore, the Ember Blenny feeds primarily on algae, making it a great addition to tanks where algae control is necessary. With plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding, this fish thrives in well-established aquariums.
Being reef compatible, the Ember Blenny gets along well with corals and other peaceful tank mates, and its playful nature makes it an interesting addition to any community reef aquarium.
