Description
The Green Fromia Star is a striking sea star that features a pale green color with intricate patterns across its body. Known for its peaceful demeanor, this species is ideal for reef aquariums and is generally considered reef-safe, as it does not pose a threat to coral or other inhabitants. The Green Fromia Star prefers well-established reef tanks with plenty of live rock and surfaces to graze on. It feeds primarily on microalgae, detritus, and bacterial films found on rock surfaces. Supplemental feeding may be necessary in newer or smaller tanks where natural food sources may not be as abundant. Due to its sensitivity to water quality, maintaining stable water parameters is essential for the health and longevity of this species.
