Description
The Hutomo’s Anthias (Pseudanthias cf. hutomo) is a stunning anthias species known for its vibrant blend of pink, orange, and yellow colors, adding a brilliant splash of color to marine aquariums. This peaceful fish does well in groups and prefers a tank environment with plenty of swimming space and rockwork for hiding.
Ideal for reef tanks, Hutomo’s Anthias is compatible with corals and other non-aggressive tank mates. As a carnivore, it thrives on a varied diet of small, meaty foods such as mysis shrimp and brine shrimp, and benefits from multiple feedings throughout the day. With a maximum size of around 4 inches, this fish is best suited for tanks of at least 70 gallons to ensure it has ample room to thrive.
