Description
The Pink Spot Watchman Goby (Cryptocentrus leptocephalus), with its striking pink spots on a beige body, is a popular choice for marine aquariums. This species is known for its habit of burrowing and creating a safe den in the substrate, often in symbiosis with a pistol shrimp.
As a carnivore, the Pink Spot Watchman Goby enjoys a diet of meaty foods like mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. This fish can become territorial but generally gets along well with other peaceful species. Reef-compatible, it is an excellent addition to a sand-bottom tank.
