Description
The Rainbow/Painted Wrasse is a vibrant and active addition to saltwater aquariums, admired for its striking green, red, and turquoise color patterns. This wrasse is semi-aggressive, especially towards other wrasses, so it is best kept with similarly sized, non-aggressive fish. Although it can be reef compatible, there is a slight risk of it disturbing small invertebrates. It requires a tank with plenty of hiding spots and a sandy substrate to burrow in at night. The Painted Wrasse enjoys a diet rich in meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and small crustaceans, making it suitable for intermediate hobbyists.
