Description
The Red Lined Wrasse is an attractive fish with vibrant red and orange stripes along its body, accented by small, eye-like spots on its dorsal area, which help to deter predators. This species is active and inquisitive, making it a lively addition to larger tanks with plenty of rockwork for hiding and foraging. While it is generally reef-safe, it may nip at smaller invertebrates, so caution is advised in mixed reef setups. The Red Lined Wrasse thrives on a varied diet of meaty foods, such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and marine pellets, providing a balanced diet to maintain its vibrant colors.
