Description
The Red Longfin Dottyback is a striking addition to any aquarium due to its intense, solid red coloration and elongated fins. Known for its bold personality, this dottyback can be territorial, especially in smaller tanks or with similar species. It thrives in a well-decorated tank with plenty of hiding spots to establish its territory. Though semi-aggressive, it generally coexists well in a reef environment and helps control smaller pests. This species adapts well to aquarium life, feeding on meaty foods like brine shrimp and mysis shrimp, and makes a colorful centerpiece for smaller to mid-sized tanks.
