Description
The White Sand Goby (Valenciennea sexguttata), also known as the Chalk Goby, is a peaceful and attractive addition to any reef aquarium. With its pale white, translucent body adorned with light blue spots, this Goby stands out beautifully against sandy substrates.
This species is a sand sifter, helping keep the substrate clean by sifting through sand and consuming small food particles and detritus. It is a carnivore that thrives on a diet of small meaty foods, such as mysis shrimp and finely chopped seafood. The White Sand Goby is reef-safe and does well with other peaceful tankmates.
