The Yellow Angel is a strikingly beautiful fish, with a solid yellow body that stands out vividly in any aquarium. This member of the Pomacanthidae family is known for its semi-aggressive nature and requires a spacious tank with plenty of hiding spots.

Native to the tropical reefs of the Indo-Pacific, the Yellow Angel thrives in well-established aquariums. Although it may nip at soft corals and clam mantles, it can be safely housed in a reef setup with caution. Offering a varied diet of marine algae, spirulina, and meaty foods such as mysis shrimp will help maintain its health and color.

This fish grows up to 5 inches and requires a minimum tank size of 70 gallons, providing ample room for swimming and hiding. The Yellow Angel should be housed with tank mates of a similar temperament, avoiding overly passive species.
