Description
The Hi-Hat Drumfish (Pareques acuminatus), with its bold black and white stripes and high dorsal fin, is an eye-catching addition to marine aquariums. This peaceful species does well in community tanks and enjoys shaded areas for hiding. While generally reef-compatible, caution is advised as it may nip at small invertebrates. It requires a meaty diet and a minimum tank size of 70 gallons, making it suitable for aquarists with moderate experience.
