Description
The Queen Angelfish is a stunning saltwater fish, easily recognizable by its vivid colors and distinct “crown” spot on the forehead. Juveniles display dark blue with light blue stripes, while adults develop a dazzling mix of blue, yellow, and green. This angelfish is semi-aggressive and can be territorial, especially in smaller tanks. The Queen Angelfish requires a large tank with plenty of hiding places and live rock for grazing. It is an omnivore and thrives on a varied diet of marine algae, sponges, and angelfish preparations. Caution is advised when housing this species in reef tanks, as it may nip at corals and invertebrates.
