Description
The Pineapple Trigger is a unique and striking triggerfish known for its yellow body covered in black, pineapple-like spots. This fish is known for its personality and can be moderately aggressive, especially toward smaller tank mates. Due to its size and activity level, it needs a spacious tank with plenty of hiding places to feel secure. The Pineapple Trigger’s diet should include a variety of meaty foods, such as shrimp, squid, and clam, to support its robust health. While it can cohabit with other fish, care should be taken if keeping it in a reef setting, as it may nip at invertebrates and corals.
